2-days cultural trip to Himeji and Kobe

Overview

Himeji Castle Himeji Castle is also known as the White Heron Castle due to its brilliant white exterior and its resemblance to a bird taking flight. Originally built in the 14th century, the castle complex was significantly expanded during Sengoku period (16th century). Himeji Castle is one of the very few castles in Japan that remained intact for more than 400 years.
Ikuta Shrine in Kobe is one of the oldest Shinto shrines in Japan. It was founded in the 3rd century for a festival welcoming back warriors. During the famous Genpei War in late-Heian period (12th century), the land around the Ikuta Shrine was a major strategic point where many battles took place. Tales of these battles are retold in theaters and the autumn festival at the shrine. Himeji Castle
Kobe Beef Kobe beef is a world-famous delicacy from Japan. Premium quality cattles are raised in a special way, resulting in an unique marbled texture and extreme tenderness.

Our trip will make a stop in Kobe where everyone can either enjoy a Kobe steak for lunch or the beautiful harbor city.
Harborland Nestled along the stunning waterfront, it offers world-class shopping, dining, and entertainment. With its scenic seaside views, Harborland is an unofficial heart of the city, drawing both locals and tourists year-round. Kobe Beef CUPNOODLES MUSEUM is dedicated to instant noodles and Cup Noodles, as well as their creator and founder, Momofuku Ando. Visitors can explore the history and evolution of instant noodles through various exhibits and interactive displays. Highlights include the Chicken Ramen Factory, the My CUPNOODLES Factory, and a replica of the hut where Momofuku Ando invented the world’s first instant noodles .

Mon, July 15
 - 09:00: Departure from Himeji
 - 10:30: Arrival in Kobe, visit harbor land
 - 12:30: Kobe Beef restaurant (optional), free time nearby Ikuta Shrine
 - 14:15: Departure from Kobe
 - 15:15: Visit CUPNOODLES MUSEUM
 - 17:45: Return to Crystal Hotel in Osaka
